Paired with its dedicated 8K wireless receiver, the Special Edition transmits positional tracking and button clicks at a true 8000Hz ultrapolling rate in both 2.4GHz wireless and wired modes. At 8K, latency drops to an imperceptible 0.125ms, delivering buttery-smooth cursor tracking and instantaneous hit-registration tailored for high-refresh-rate esports displays (240Hz to 540Hz).
Click reliability is powered by 100-million-click optical microswitches. By actuating via light beams rather than physical metal leaves, these switches eliminate debounce delay and remain completely immune to accidental double-clicking over time. The underside is fitted with rounded-edge 100% virgin-grade PTFE skates for a frictionless glide across cloth, cordura, and glass mousepads.
